The Enumeration of Various Types of Constrained Secondary Structure

For the exact enumeration of various types of constrained secondary structures, this pa- per presents some recursion formulas and derives some properties which are based on the recursion relation about S(n) given by Waterman in (7). And a classification of secondary structure by complexity is discussed. Furthermore, we obtain some relations on RNA sec- ondary structures of a given order.
