摘要
The A1 symmetry vCO of the carbonyl complexes [Mo(chel)(CO)4], [M(chel)(CO)2] [PF6] (M=Rh, Ir; chel=bipy, phen and substituted derivatives) are used for determining the electron donor-acceptor properties of the title ligands. The steric hindrance of the methyl groups in positions 2 and 9 of the phenanthroline favours the formation of Rh(I) and Ir(I) pentacoordinated derivatives.
