Online Calculation of Short-circuit Current Assistant Decision-making

Most online analysis of short-circuit current is just a kind of calculation and a pre-warning of short-circuit current over-limitation.No measures of controlling short-circuit current can be derived from it.Two methods of online calculation of short-circuit current assistant decision-making are proposed in the paper.One of the methods is that three assistant decision-making measures of generator outage,transmission line outage and operation of series reactance are given based on the operation or outage conditions of the equipment and the fault algorithm for variable structure electrical system.The other mothed is that the main electric wiring method is obtained and two assistant decision-making measures of bus bar running in a split state or out of line are given based on real-time station topology analysis.The application of online calculation in a provincial power grid shows that the method is of great practical use.
