Electron Energy-Loss Spectroscopy Of Ni2si - Valence Collective Excitation And Structural-Properties

Ni 2 Si was studied by electron energy-loss spectroscopy in the valence and core level (NiM 2,3 and L 2,3 ) excitation region. The valence loss structure was correlated with the silicide electronic properties. The experimental radial distribution function around a Ni atom was obtained by Fourier analyzing the extended loss spectrum above the NiM 2,3 edge.
