Abstract
In Osaka City, the air temperature in summer is remarkably high, and the risk of heat stroke is increasing over the last few years. Wet bulb globe temperature (WBGT) was measured at the East monitoring station where the air temperature in the daytime was the highest in the heat island monitoring network. As a result, the period of the warning level was longer than in the representative station of the Ministry of Environment (MOE). It is shown that regional consideration is important for announcing of 'Heat Stroke Warning', because the temperature situation has the space-time characteristics.
