Abstract
Introduction: Gastrostomy feeding is an important method of providing enteral nutrition in head and neck cancer patients. At the Royal Sussex County Hospital, a fast-track service has been established for the provision of radiologically inserted gastrostomies (RIGs) in head and neck cancer patients, in order that cancer treatment is not delayed. The purpose of this study was to evaluate this service and assess the complications of RIGs.
