Effect of Treatment of Mediating Five Organs on the Metalbism of Blood Glucose in Diabetic Rat

[Objective]To investigate the effect of treatment of mediating five organs(MFO)on blood glucose,insulin,GSP.[Methods]Forty rats were randomly divided into 4 groups,normal group,model group,low dose group,high dose group.The latter three groups were given STZ by intraperitoneal injection at the dosage of 60mg/kg.Low dose groups and high dose groups were given decoction of MFO at the dosage of 2.5g/kg and 5g/kg,two times per day.Thirty days later,the blood glucose levels,body weight,content of insulin,GSP in blood were measured[.Results] Compared with the normal group,the model group showed higher content of glucose,GSP,lower insulin in blood.After the MFO treatment,the above changes can be rectified[.Conclusion]The treatment of mediating five organs can decrease the blood glucose,GSP,increase the content of insulin.
