摘要
Objective To investigate the effects of irbesartan combined with vitamin E on the improvement of micro-inflammatory state and erythropoietin(EPO) dosage in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD) patients. Methods Forty-six MHD patients with hemodialysis three times a week were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 23 patients in each group.Patients in the treatment group were given irbesartan combined with vitamin E every day.Patients in the control group were given placebo.C-reactive protein(CRP),Interlukin-1β(IL-1β),Interlukin-6(IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α) were measured after six months. All patients were observed changes in EPO dosage. Results After 6 months' treatment, the levels of CRP,IL-6,IL-1β,TNF-α and EPO dosage in the treatment group decreased than before. And the above-mentioned data in the treatment group were much lower than those in the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Irbesartan combined with vitamin E can relieve the micro-inflammatory state and reduce the EPO dosages in MHD patients.
