Optimizing the medium for liquid inoculation of Grifola frondosa by response surface analysis
Acta Agriculturae Shanghai(2011)
Abstract
Based on the mycelium biomass index the composition optimization of main medium for the liquid inoculation of factory-cultured Grifola frondosa was conducted by response surface analysis. It was found from the Plackett-Burman design that wheat bran and corn meal were two major factors influencing the biomass, then the maximum response range was approached by using the steepest ascent experiment, and lastly it was concluded by the central composite design and the response surface analysis that the optimal medium composition was 38.48 g/L wheat bran and 48.92 g/L corn meal, and the maximum biomass was 49.25 g/L.
