Clinical Observation of Modified "Jiangzhi Ligan Decoction" in Treating Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in Phlegm-Blood Stasis Constitution Patients

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of modified Jiangzhi Ligan Decoction in treating non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) in phlegm-blood stasis constitution patients.Methods One hundred and twenty patients of NAFLD were randomly divided into treatment group(n=63) and control group(n=57).Control group received elementary therapy including reasonable diet and appropriate movement.In treatment group,in addition to the elementary therapy,modified Jiangzhi Ligan Decoction was taken orally,twice a day.One course of treatment was three months,and both groups were treated for two courses.Symptom score,body mass index(BMI),B-ultrasonic examination,liver function,blood lipid were examined before and two courses after treatments.Results Compared with control group,the clinical symptoms,BMI,B-ultrasonic examination,liver function,blood lipid in treatment group were ameliorated more significantly after treatment(P 0.05,P 0.01).Conclusion Modified Jiangzhi Ligan Decoction is effective in treating NAFLD.
