Preserving Ethnic Culture in Sustainable Tourism Development ; Mosuo community, Lugu Lake, China

Indigenous cultural tourism is an important part of tourism industry in the world. The development of indigenous cultural tourism, while brings economic booms which will probably result in negative effect of society and indigenous culture. Indigenous cultures are the precious and indispensable cultural resources of the entire human beings from anthropolosical perspective. This paper takes Mosuo community in Lugu Lake in china as an example, discussing the impact of the tourism to indigenous culture, and to set good solutions in protection sustainable tourism development of this indigenous culture. Mosuo community in Lugu Lake is a very typical case studying the ethnic cultural tourism which is based on a unique matriarchy social system and walking marriages custom. The protection of ethnic solution of indigenous culture in Lugu Lake also has constructive significance to the worldwide cultural tourism development.
