Reinforcement Mechanism and Engineering Application of Cement-Soil Mixing Pile in Soft-Soil Foundation

In order to further increase the bearing capacity of soft-soil composite foundation with the cement-soil mixing pile,the authors analyze its consolidation mechanism,holding that its consolidation is mainly derived from such aspects as the cement-soil hydrolysis and hydration,ion-exchange,hard-coagulation and carbonation effect.Based on a project case,this paper elaborates on the design and construction of cement-soil mixing pile and the detection of its reinforcement effects.The practical detection results show that the quality of cement-soil mixing pile fulfills the requirements of foundation reinforcement.
