Hospital infection: analysis of 3630 malignant tumor patients.

OBJECTIVE To analyze the charactersistics of hospital infection's in patients and its malignant tumor pathogenic bacteria and infection sites,and provide evidence for clinical control and prevention. METHODS The hospital infection situation among 3630 cases malignant tumor patients was investigated with prospective and retrospective means. RESULTS The hospital infection rate among malignant tumor patients was 14.30%,the respiratory tract was the most frequent infection site (70.10%),the second was gastrointestinal tract (8.40%). The most common pathogens were G-bacteria (48.21%). CONCLUSIONS The invasive examination and treatment ,by poimmunity and long-term anti-bacterials use are high risk factors of hospital infection.
