Observations Of The Crab Nebula And Pulsar With Stacee
Proceedings of the 29th International Cosmic Ray Conference, Vol 4: OG 2.1, 2.2 & 2.3(2005)
Abstract
The Solar Tower Atmospheric Cherenkov Effect Experiment (STACEE) is an atmospheric Cherenkov detector that detects cosmic gamma-rays using the showerfront-sampling technique. The 1 GS/s Flash ADCs used by STACEE provide both timing and pulse height information regarding the Cherenkov showerfront, and they allow for the reconstruction of the showerfront in off-line data analysis. Ne present STACEE's detection of the Crab Nebula using new gamma/hadron separation parameters, along with the result of a search for the Crab Pulsar.
