Effects of nutrition education cards applied in mothers of simple obese children

Objective To discuss the effects of nutrition education cards applied in mothers of simple obese children.Methods In the 10 survey points in Shenzhen,637 mothers of simple obese children were randomly selected from communities and divided into the card group and the control group.The card group received the cards nutrition education mode,and the control group received the traditional education mode.The education effects were compared between the two groups.Results The nutrition knowledge of the mothers in the card group was significantly improved,and the diet attitude and behaviors were improved too(P0.01).Conclusion The implementation of nutrition education cards in mothers of simple obese children can improve their nutrition knowledge,family diets and nutrition behaviors.It is an effective way of nutrition education.
