Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical and pathologic characteristics of psoriatic arthritis(PSA).Methods:The high frequency ultrasound technology was used to observe the ultrasound imaging of joints in PSA patients.The imaging characteristic was retrospectively analyzed in 100 cases with PSA.Results:All the pactients with PSA had different ultrasonographic changes,in comparison with normal healthy controls.Ultrasonographic changes included four types:Type 1,Tendons or ligaments entheseal inflammation;Tytp II,bursae synovialis inflammation;Type III,cartilage damage;Type IV,bone damage.Each patient could have one or more changes at the same time.Conclusion:The above ultrasonographic changes in joints in patients with PSA,could be used as an useful approach not only to diagnosis of PSA,but also to comment its therapeutic effect and prognosis.
