Abstract

This 2-year, evaluator-blinded, randomized controlled trial compared arthroscopic surgery plus non-surgical care to non-surgical care alone in 188 patients with knee OA. WOMAC scores in the two treatment groups were not different at two years. Subgroup analyses showed similar results for patients with 1) low disease severity and 2) symptoms of catching or locking.
