Realization of DM9000A driver based on embedded Linux

Designs in embedded systems often need to expand the network interface to facilitate communication with the outside .This paper designs the hardware interface circuit between embedded microprocessors S3C2410X and network interface chip DM9000A which is adopted with the advantages of small package, low power consumption, AUTO-Mdix, on this basis achieves the driver development of DM9000A ,and meanwhile elaborates the driver development of some key events such as data send, receive and overtime in Linux environment in detail. Test results show that: this scheme can support fast and stable network packet transmission.
