On the Problem of Parity Violation in Atoms
CANADIAN JOURNAL OF PHYSICS(2011)
Abstract
Possibilities of observation of the electron–nucleus weak interaction in atoms are discussed. Parity violating effects, e.g., circular dichroism, rotation of polarization planes, and splitting of frequencies of the circularly polarized modes of an interferometer are calculated for a number of atomic transitions.
