Pickup Attachment for Small-Plot Combine

Research scale combines currently available are not designed to harvest windrowed seed crops. A pickup attachment was constructed from a commercially available unit that allows mechanized harvest of windrows with plot-scale combines. This piece of equipment was used successfully during the 1989 season to harvest a variety of seed crops.
