摘要
was performed at baseline, prior to hospital discharge and at 30 days and 6 months. Results: Sixty patients have been enrolled from ANZ with severe aortic stenosis (mean gradient 80.8± 20.8mmHg), mean age 82.4± 7.5 year (50% male), logistic EuroSCORE 17.6± 13.3. Paired echocardiograph data from baseline to 30-day follow-up is displayed in the table. Variable Baseline 30 days Aortic valve area (cm2) 0.72 ± 0.21 1.95 ± 0.53 Mean EF (%) 50.7 ± 14.6 54.2 ± 12.9 Peak gradient (mmHg) 75.7 ± 28.8 21 ± 6.3 Mean Gradient (mmHg) 49.4 ± 16.9 8.6 ± 3.6 Conclusions: Preliminary experience with the CoreValve ReValving System for the treatment of severe aortic stenosis demonstrates excellent improvement in aortic valve area, reduction in peak and mean gradients and improvement systolic function at 30 days. doi:10.1016/j.hlc.2009.05.519
