an effort to further elucidate which of these two pathways mediate radiation resislance, we did clonogenic survivals with rapamycin.an inhibitor of p70S6K.No effect in radiation sensitivity wa\ seen in T24 cells with rapamycin.Conclusions: Using pharmacological inhibitor5 of downstream components of ras, we have Lhown that the ras-Pl3K-AKT pathway mediate5 radiation resistance in T24 bladder carcinoma cells.Further work at the molecular level is required to ascertain this pathway.
