Abstract
For many years,the borate luminescence materials have been paid much attention owing to their properties of low preparation temperature and high luminescent efficiency.In order to search for the new green-photoluminescence material, In0.98Tb0.02BO3 was synthesized by high temperature solid state reaction at a weak reductive atmosphere which was made by the active carbon powder.The optimum preparation condition of indium borate terbium is 1 300 ℃ of calcination temperature and 4 h of calcinations time.The excitation spectra and emission spectra are measured by F-2500 flurospectrophotometer.Indium borate terbium emits 550 nm of green light when excited by 274 nm of ultraviolet and its peak is high and narrow,which shows that the color of the luminophor is pure and it has certain value.
