Marine microalgae PUFAs and synthetase genes application in tumor prevention and treatment

PUFAs was essential for human health,and involved in many important physiological reaction in the human body.Especially the relative content of n-3 PUFAs/n-6 PUFAs was associated with the treatment and prevention of tumor.We can obtain PUFAs from diet which rich in n-3 PUFAs and n-6 PUFAs,and also synthesize PUFAs with the help of PUFAs synthetase gene using fatty acid substances.Study showed that PUFAs synthetase genes of marine microalgae can express effectively in tumor cells,inhibit cell proliferation and lead to apoptosis.It proved that these genes can be applied to tumor cell therapy with good value.
