Rationale: There is emerging evidence of low-level microseizure activity occurring in the interictal state in patients with focal epilepsy. We utilised voxel-wise imaging applied to SPECT (STATISCOM) to perform group analysis on interictal SPECT imaging from patients with confirmed mesial TLE to investigate if there were regions of hyperperfusion in the interictal state.
