Abstract
A model of a continuum with an interface is adopted to study domain structures in elastic ferromagnetic crystals. By a variational principle, jump and field equations governing equilibrium configurations in the presence of strains are derived and then applied to uniaxial crystals, in the approximation of “infinitesimal” deformations.
