Robo-Erectus Junior { A KidSize Soccer Playing Humanoid Robot

This paper provides a brief description of Robo-Erectus Junior, the humanoid developed in the Advanced Robotics and Intelligent Control Centre of Singa- pore Polytechnic that will participate in the KidSize category in the Humanoid League of RoboCup 2007. The Robo-Erectus project has reached a new stage with this latest version of the robot. The features of this new version are de- scribed in detail here. We also present a newly developed biped gait generation and optimization approach, the vision system, the behaviour control, and the communication module.
