摘要
A new species of Cerotrioza Crawford (Hemiptera: Triozidae) is described, which damages New South Wales Christmas Bush, Ceratopetalum gummiferum, in Australia. Cerotrioza nigromacula sp. n. is considered a serious commercial pest species, of which the nymphs induce malformation of leaves and produce copious amounts of viscous waste, both considered unacceptable in the cut flower industry. The generic placement of species formerly assigned to Cerotrioza is reviewed and the following revised combinations are proposed: Leuronota corniger (Crawford) and L. microceras (Crawford) are returned to the genus Cerotrioza, and Cerotrioza umalii (Miyatake) is returned to the genus Trioza Foerster. A key to all known species of Cerotrioza is provided.
