The ABS extruder of Synthetic Resin Factory of Jilin petrochemical Co.Ltd.is an important production equipment which is imported from foreign country.The price of its screw rod part is very expensive.The problem of manufacturing domestically is prominent day by day.The production principle of extruder was introduced,the material quality characteristic of its screw rod part was analyzed,and the material selection and the processing craft of its screw rod part were proposed in the paper.The manufacturing domestically of imported extruder screw rod part become a reality successfully in June 2003,it saved the massive funds for the factory.
