摘要
This article explores the view in which individuals can be seen to appreciate as well as embody the dynamics of large-scale systems. In exploring this model, I draw on 3 relatively straightforward cases in which large-scale dynamical systems can be seen to have functioned so as to afford the individual subsumed by them with an appreciation of the states of dynamical system as well as with an accompaniment of beliefs. Proposed large-scale dynamical systems are mathematically formalized with regard to their operational components, and then the mathematical descriptions of these systems are analyzed. Based on the analyses, it is argued that the dynamical systems are credible and that individuals were likely appreciating as well as embodying aspects of the dynamical systems of which they were a part. Appreciation can be demonstrated by interpreting the actions that were taken by individuals, whereas embodiment can be demonstrated by interpreting the material expressions left behind by the members of the systems. The large-scale systems upon which I concentrate are those responsible for population and resource fluctuation.
