Abstract
The authors report the case of a seven-year old girl affected by a moderate CIV (type I). A persistent fever permitted to discover an acute tricuspid endocarditis. The failure of drug therapy, the existence of a septic pulmonary emboli, the extension of vegetations, led to surgery (tricuspid prothesis, removal of vegetations, closure of CIV) and the patient was cured. The originality consist in right localisation of endocarditis, surgical recovery, and the isolated germ with slow growth (Propionibacterium acnes).
