Abstract
While the Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Band (LAGB) has been gaining in popularity, controversy remains over its efficacy. This is particularly true in the super obese. Some authors have advocated that LAGB should not be offered to patients with higher BMI's. We offer LAGB to all patients regardless of their starting BMI and report our findings.
