Effect of the stress reaction during general anaesthesia combined with epidural block in laparoscope gastric perforation neoplasty

AIM To compare the effects of the stress reaction during general anaesthesia combined with epidural block(GE) and single general anaesthesia(GA) in laparoscope gastric perforation neoplasty.METHODS Forty patients who were performed laparoscope gastric perforation neoplasty were randomly divided into 2 groups:GE group and GA group,applying vein-inhaled maintaining anaesthesia.GE group performed epidural block after anaesthesia induction. Mean arterial pressure(MAP) and heart rate(HR) were recorded.The concentration of endothelin(ET) and calcitonin gene-related peptide(CGRP) were mensured.The concentration of inhalation sevoflurane was recorded when entering the operating room(T_0),before pneumoperitonenm(T_1),30 min after pneumoperitonenm(T_2),60 min after peneumoperitonenm (T_3) and 10 min after extubation(T_4).RESULTS MAP was significandy lower on T_1-T_3 than T_0 in GE group, and also significandy lower than GA group(P0.05);HR was significandy faster on T_4 than T_0 in 2 groups(P0.05);ET,CGRP were significandy lower in GE group than in GA group on T_2,T_3,T_4(P0.05);ET was significandy higher on T_2,T_3 than T_0 in GA group(P0.05);CGRP was significandy lower on T_3 than T_0 in GA group(P0.05); MAC of sevoflurane was significandy lower in GE group than in GA group on T_1-T_4(P0.05);MAC of sevoflurane was significandy higher on T_2,T_3 than T_1 in 2 groups(P0.05),and lower on T_4 than on T_1(P0.05).CONCLUSION Compared with GA group,GE group could relieve the stress reaction in laparoscope gastric perforation neoplasty effectually.
