Abstract
Objective To study the clinical significance of detecting serum levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP and cTnI in patients with viral myocarditis(VMC).Methods The serum levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP and cTnI were detected in 78 patients(48 patients with VMC in acute stage and 30 patients with VMC in recovery stage),and their results were compared with those of 40 healthy children in control group. Results The serum levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP and cTnI in patients in VMC group in acute stage were significantly higher than those of patients in VMC group in recovery stage and control group(all P 0.05).The serum levels of TNF-α and hs-CRP were actively correlated with cTnI in patients of VMC group in acute stage(all P 0.05).Conclusion The detection of serum levels of TNF-α,hs-CRP and cTnI plays an important role in judgment of the severity of disease and prognosis.
