Study on the Ultrasonic-aid Electroless Plating on the Nd-Fe-B Permanent-magnet

In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the Nd-Fe-B permanent-magnet,the electroless plating was used on the surface of the Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet.According with the particularity of the Nd-Fe-B permanent magnet,the ultrasonic technology was applied to the electroless plating process.The appearance and performance of plating were analyzed by scanning electron microscope(SEM),the measurement of pore rate,NSS and electrochemical measurement,etc.Compared with common electroless Ni-P coatings,the ultrasonic electroless Ni-P plating got finer and more compact.With the ultrasonic technology,the desensitization and the corrosion resistance of electroless Ni-P plating were improved effectively.
