Development of Relay Protection Expert System in Coal Mine

Expert system is described in the application of power system fault diagnosis and it is proposed to build a raley protection expert system according to the current power development.Then the paper designs the overall structure of the system,and the design process of knowledge base,inference engine in the system is introduced in detail.After preliminary tests,the system can diagnoses a variety of ground faults accurately.Finally,the paper points out the application problems of expert system and presents suggestion for future system design.
