摘要

The aim of this study was to improve the specificity of cationic lipid-based vectors. We started assembling from scratch particles consisting of commercially available cationic lipid reagents. The lipid particles were decorated with peptide fragments of the neuronal cell adhesion molecule (NCAM) which mimic NCAM-homophilic binding. Regenerating muscle fibres, as they appear e.g. in the pathological state of Duchenne Muscle Dystrophy, express this satellite cell marker NCAM.
