Desarrollo procedimental del mantenimiento industrial en un hospital* Procedural development of industrial maintenance in a hospital

The adequacy of the Maintenance area to the needs that stem from the increase of the satisfaction of the client has not been widely analyzed and implemented in the actual companies; this aspect has been more considered in manufacture companies that in the services ones, where the maintenance was considered an area without influence on the service final quality. In this article, it is exposed the procedural development carried out in a last generation Hospital, being adapted to the requirements of the current regulation ISO 9001:2000. With this, it is tried to endow the Maintenance area with the importance that has in service companies and specifically in a hospital, therefore the scope, resources, responsibilities, reference regulations, procedures and documents that describe the proper activities of this service have been defined. For the selection of the best offer for contests of works execution has been considered the application of the multicriteria technique ELECTRE II. An example of application to the Hospital is shown in this article. In addition, there is an explanation of the implantation process and the techniques used in the practical application of a Quality Manual: the Computerized Maintenance Management System.These methods are claimed to satisfy the procedural needs for the Maintenance area in the Ciudad Real General Hospital, so that will influence positively on the hospitable services client, taking this aim under the frame of the current regulation and legislation.
