Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of bibliotherapy in university library on the psychological health status of undergraduate students.Methods One hundred undergraduate students were measured with the symptom checklist(SCL-90),and the results were compared with the national norm.The effect of bibliotherapy in university library on the psychological health status of undergraduate students was analyzed.Results The factor scores of SCL-90 of undergraduate students were higher than those of the national norm,there were statistically significant difference in the factor scores of somatization,interpersonal sensitivity,depression and anxiety(P0.05).After treatment of bibliotherapy in university library,the factor scores of SCL-90 of undergraduate students decreased,there were statistically significant difference in the factor scores of somatization,interpersonal sensitivity,depression and anxiety(P0.05).Conclusion There are some psychological unhealth status among undergraduate students,include the negative emotion,somatization symptoms and interpersonal relationship,and so on.The bibliotherapy in university library can produce a positive role in improving the psychological health status of undergraduate student.
