Abstract
沧州武术源远流长,文化内涵丰富.历史上沧州武林不但英豪辈出,而且这些习武之人讲究武德修养、提倡侠义精神,是中华武林的杰出代表.这一性格群体的形成与沧州一带从西汉河间献王以来就开始的儒学文化积淀有关系,也与这些习武之人所具有的社会责任感密不可分.明清以来沧州武师身上表现出的“自强不息”、“厚德载物”的精神和他们“铁肩担道义”的做法,是我们后世应该提倡的担当精神的来源.
