Jc–B characteristics of (RE,RE′)–Ba–Cu–O films on PLD-CeO2/IBAD-GZO/metal substrates

We have fabricated NdBa2Cu3O7-delta (Nd-123) films and GdxRE1-xBa2Cu3O7-delta (GdRE-123, RE = Er, Nd) films on metal substrates using MAD (ion-beam assisted deposit ion)-Gd2Zr2O7 buffer layer. The influence of Gd partial substitution by Nd on J(c) and T-c was investigated under magnetic field up to 8 T. The effect of RE and RE partial substitution was additionally examined in comparison with our previous data of the J(c) and the T-c of REBa2Cu3O7-delta (RE = Er, Y, Dy, Gd, Sm). GdNd-123 films showed a change of the J(c) and the T-c according to the Gd/Nd ratio, while the J(c) of the GdEr-123 films are low compared to the J(c) value expected from the Gd/Er ratio under magnetic field.
