Abstract
Common bile duct (CBD) dilation without a clear explanation can be found on various radiographic imaging modalities. Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) can be useful in determining the etiology of CBD dilation, but its yield has not been well established. The large majority of patients studied in previous small case series have been women. Our aim is to determine the yield of EUS in the evaluation of unexplained CBD dilation in a veteran population.
