Spectroscopy Of Neutron Halo Nucleus Be-11 Via The B-11(D, He-2) Reaction At 70 Mev

Differential cross sections and vector and tensor analyzing powers for the B-11(d, He-2)Be-11 reaction at 70 MeV have been measured and Gamow-Teller and spinflip dipole transitions are identified. Observed mean excitation energy and strength for the spinflip dipole transition in which possible neutron halo effect manifests itself are consistent with the shell model prediction which takes the neutron halo into account.
