The Proposed Dedicated Ion Beam Facility for Cancer Therapy at the Clinic in Heidelberg

Starting in 1997 nearly 60 patients have been successfullytreated by means of the intensity controlled rasterscanmethodwithin the GSI experimental cancer treatmentprogram.
