PARÂMETROS DE AVALIAÇÃO DA TOLERÂNCIA AO ALUMÍNIO TÓXICO EM DIFERENTES CULTIVARES DE AVEIA (Avena sativa L.) TOXIC ALUMINUM TOLERANCE EVALUATION PARAMETERS IN DIFFERENT OAT CULTIVARS (Avena sativa L.)

The identification of efficient parameters on the evaluation of toxic aluminum tolerance Al 3+ with the use of hydroponic culture, can be of greatest use in oat breeding. In this study an experiment was performed using hydroponic in order to evaluate ten white oat cultivars subjected to treatment with 15 ppm Al 3+ . Different planted characters were measured and the data subjected to determine the degree of association with the character root regrowth (REC). Besides, it was determined the percentage of contribution from each character to the genetic divergence among the cultivars. It was verified that the analyzed remaining parameters can not be used as indirect selection on the discrimination of Al 3+ tolerant genotypes.
