摘要
Biodiversity underpins many of the key ecosystem services provided by multifunctional landscapes, including food and water security and human health and wellbeing (Isbell et al., 2017). The integration of species protection within planning and development processes is a legal requirement in the United Kingdom under the National Planning Framework and is also a goal of the government's 25-year environment plan (DEFRA, 2018). Similar protections are in place in many other countries (Glasson & Therivel, 2013). Legislation Received: 30 June 2020 | Accepted: 12 October 2020 DOI: 10.1111/1365-2664.13782
