Construction of Virtual Simulation System and Cabin Roaming in the Field of Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering

A virtual reality simulation platform was established by using advanced SGI's ONYX graphics workstation as a system platform PTC's DIVISION REALITY as the core software and 3-dimensional modeling software and driver software.With SGI large-screen immersive virtual reality hardware-as the basis a large-scale cabin roaming system was developed based on SGI/Vega3D virtual system.The system could achieve 3-channel large-screen immersive virtual reality operation and the 3D open Flight Virtual Reality scene roaming and conformity,and realize the realistic 3D virtual cabin roaming system simulation and parts assembly and dismantlement experiment.
