Failure Mode Analysis of Permanent Magnetic Bearing with Knowledge Management Method

It is necessary to analyze the failure mode and effect of permanent magnetic bearing and propose reliable design methods in order to extend the operating life and ensure reliable performance.But FMEA knowledge of permanent magnetic bearing is simplex and dispersive,which cannot provide effective knowledge support to insure its reliability.For these reasons,ontology was applied to depict the hierarchy and relationship of FMEA knowledge of permanent magnetic bearing among the design and manufacturing process.The permanent magnetic bearing FMEA knowledge repository was set up to realize the effective management of FMEA knowledge,and to improve the reliability level of permanent magnetic bearing.
