Polymorphisms of Eotaxin-3 +77C/T and +2497T/G and the Correlation with Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective:To study the polymorphisms of+77C/T and+2497T/G in eotaxin-3 and their correlation with rheumatoid arthritis in adult population of the Han nationality from Hubei province of China.Methods:Polymerase chain reaction was used to identi- fy the single nucleotide polymorphism.Results:The frequency of eotaxin-3+2497 G allele in rheumatoid arthritis group and control group is significantly different (P0.05) ;The frequency ofeotaxin-3+77 T allele in rheumatoid arthritis group and control group has no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:Polymorphism of eotaxin-3+2497 is related with the susceptibility of rheumatoid arthritis.
