Application of surfactants and laboratory study in drilling fluid

The application range of four types of surfactant including anion,cation,nonionic and amphoteric surfactants is summarized.The primary evaluation for some common surfactants is carried out in laboratory.The results show that the combination solution of 1.5% polyalcohol polyoland and 0.1% dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid sodium can significantly reduce the surface tension,and the water blocking effect can be alleviated.
